Neptune

On certain occasions I forget that some children come to school without any background information on the world around them whatsoever. One of the lessons I have learned (the hard way as is evident in this strip) is not to assume a child knows even the most basic fundamentals concerning a particular subject. It’s important to understand what the students know and don’t know about a topic before starting a lesson.
